You must set expectations. During the peak of Carnival (especially at the Sambadrome or at a bloco with 1 million people), the local networks in Rio are under extreme strain. While our eSIM uses the best local networks (like Vivo/Claro), you should expect data to be slower than normal during these peak hours. It will still be more reliable for sending WhatsApp messages than a congested public Wi-Fi.
