Coverage on the TCT is surprisingly decent but intermittent. In dense forest sections of Tavush and Lori, signal may drop. An eSIM connected to Viva-MTS offers the best chance of retaining signal on higher elevations along the trail for safety/GPS usage.
I am hiking the Transcaucasian Trail (TCT). Will the eSIM work in the forests?
